what would be the caster level of their Antimagic field ( you know the big nasty central eye)?

It should be equal to that of all their other eye rays. Since they aren't in the SRD, can't find that for you right now since I don't have my MM at work. Shouldn't be hard to find if you have the book at hand though.

Well, I'll take a look when I get home and send you the CL of a Beholder's eye rays via Private Message when I find it, unless someone beats me to it. I must say, though, I'm curious as to why you need the CL of a beholder's antimagic cone to help with your character creation. Perhaps you can enlighten me?

ok because there is a FR feat that I might take called Initiate of Mystra Basicly it allows you to try to cast a spell in a dead magic zone or antimagic field and for an antimagic field the DC is 11+ the caster level of the antimagic field. As a side note do you know much about epic level?

Well, that's an interesting explanation, and a VERY useful power. I really like the flavor of the Initiate feats from FR. Anyway, yeah I'm pretty familiar with the Epic rules (the basics anyway). For very specific questions, I'd have to reference the SRD.

ok lets say I am a wizard for 5 levels then I take teh Spellfire Channeler PrC ( the only thing you need to know I think is that caster level doesn't increase, I think it doesn't say whether it does on the qualities) which is a 10 level PrC. then He will either take Wizard levels agian or take cleric levels ( and the subsquent Initiate Feat) but what I want to know it that if I take wizard levels agian will he still gain spells until he is a 20th level Wizard?

Well, the answer to your question about the Beholder is that its Antimagic Cone operates at CL 13.

As for the class levels bit, the short answer is yes. If you return to the wizard class, you'll continue gaining spellcasting ability commensurate with your wizard level. For example, Wizard 5 / Spellfire Channeler 10 who adds another level of wizard would be a 16th level character who casts spells as a 6th level wizard. If you instead gain a level as a cleric, you get the appropriate spellcasting abilities of a 1st level cleric. Now, as I understand it, you should note that just because your character level exceeds 20, that doesn't mean you automatically stop gaining spells per day as a wizard does. That doesn't happen until you actually have an effective caster level of 20 as a wizard (again, this is as I understand it because the way the rules are written seems a bit ambiguous to me, and your DM may say otherwise). Now, upon studying the power granted by the Initiate of Mystra feat, I think it's pertinent to remember that you have to succeed on a caster level check in order to use your magic in an antimagic/dead magic zone, and just taking the feat means you have to be a 3rd level cleric. The class combinations you're looking at by 20th level look something like this: Wizard 7 / Cleric 3 / Spellfire Channeler 10. That means the actual caster level of both of your spellcasting classes will be VERY low for your level, and your chances of successfully attempting the caster level check to make your magic work with the Initiate feat will consequently by very low - at least without taking certain feats in supplemental books (multiple times, in fact). If your concept is built primarily around manipulating spellfire (as the choice of PrC suggests) and you're just looking for an interesting ability to give you the *chance* of making your magic work when it normally wouldn't, then the build you're going for works just fine. If you're looking to create a master of magic both arcane and divine who can wield his or her powers even when others could not, then I'd suggest something a little different.

I am looking for a way to make my spellfire work when it normally wouldn't and My character has a zealous affinity with Mystra because of his gift( spellfire) and the Initiate feat would fit well with his devotion. but how would you say that I would have to check to make my spellfire work? would it be in dead magic 20 + the number of spellfire levels used. and in a antimagic field caster check ( caster lvl being the levels of Spellfire Channeler or Spellfire Heirophant) DC 11 + caster lvl of the antimagic field? would that be far, because lets face it spellfire is really underpowered at higher level

Hi.

Is Spellfire actually a spell, or something else? For instance, a spell-like or supernatural ability. Initiate of Mystra only allows you to cast spells (and by magic-psionics transparency, psionic powers) in an antimagic or dead magic field, as far as I recall.
