Beholder Eye Ray Stipulation Gone? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-10-05, 02:45 PM The search does not seem to be working. I was placing a Beholder in my recent dungeon and I noticed that the stipulation on the maximum number of eye rays in a given direction is no longer there. I know they sissified the Beholder in 3rd edition and this is a much more frightening creature, but I want to make sure this rule is right before I forge ahead. I looked in the eratta and found bubkis. Thanks

It's a general rule for all beholder and beholder-ish creatures.
