I am hoping to create a cache of the creatures to tie in with the Shackled City Adventure Path and specially Vhalantru/Orbius.

I'm guessing (unfortunately) it is in the Forgotten Realms Monster write ups.

Does anyone know what types there are and what deiiferent sort of powers they possess?

I know very little about the other types of beholderkin except for what I can guess from illustrations/pictures/adventures. I wasn't hoping for a full write up on the monsters - more a comparison of each and possible a brief description of their differences.

For example I understand that most of the beholderkin are weaker versions of the beholder. One beholderkin has two clawed arms and thats about were my knowledge ends.

Is the Hive Mother a superior beholder?

What can you tell me without breaking any message board 'rule'?

Beholderkin that rides and empathically commands vermin.

Beholderkin, Eye of the Deep
Marine beholder with two big crab-claws.

Beholderkin, Hive Mother
Giant beholder with the power to command lesser beholders.

Beholderkin, Overseer
Bizarre, tree-shaped monstrosity, often used by hive mothers to oversee their minions.

Beholderkin, Spectator
Non-evil, extraplanar beholderkin; often used as a guardian.

Beholder junior.

Beholderkin, Death Kiss
No eyes; many blood-sucking tentacles.

Tiny, very weak beholderkin; popular as a familiar in some circles.
