Voldenuit 09-11-04, 10:29 PM	Anyone got any thoughts on what the best base creature is to apply a Tauric template to? My favourite atm is the Gravbeast (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mm/20040627a) HD: 6 Stats: Str +10, Dex + 6, Con + 8 Spd: 40 ft, 40 ft (climb) SQ: DR 3/-, Gravitic stability, Gravitic turbulence (50% miss chance on ranged atks) Atk: 4 claws 1d6 (6 claws & double damage with pounce) Special Atks: Knockdown, Powerful Pounce, Reverse Gravity Any other favourites? I like to pick creatures with as low HD as possible, and of course any special abilities that rely on a head (such as breath weapon, gaze, poison bite etc.) disappear with taurics.
Voldenuit 09-11-04, 10:54 PM	Here's another one - low HD creature with some useful abilities. Spectral Panther (Monsters of Faerun) HD: 3 (!!) Stats: Str +8, Dex + 2, Con +6 Spd: 40 ft SQ: Spectral form (3/day), Ghost Touch, Fast Healing 2 Special Atks: Fear Aura
