A black pudding's acid ability says the following:

Acid (Ex): The creature secretes a digestive acid that dissolves organic material and metal quickly, but does not affect stone. Any melee hit or constrict attack deals acid damage, and the opponent’s armor and clothing dissolve and become useless immediately unless they succeed on DC 21 Reflex saves.

What item slots are affected by this? If a character is attacked by a black pudding, and has on some magic armor and some Boots of Elvenkind and a Cloak of Resistance, and a Ring of Protection, which items must make saves? Just the armor (or anything else taking up the "body" slot)? Or everything that is worn?

I'm just going to go with the most directly applicable section of the rules, which is the rules for item destruction following a natural 1, and lists "magic clothing" as separate from cloaks, armor, headgear, bracers and jewelry. In other words, yes, a conservative interpretation of "clothing" seems to be "item that fills the body slot" (robes, shirts, etc.)

I would go with this mainly because interpreting it to mean "all things that are worn" seems really excessively cruel.
