Blighter Lich [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-27-07, 04:28 PM What is the best way to prep as a wizard for a fight with a Blighter Lich?

The other characters are a barbarian/ranger/fighter, a sorc/cleric, a rogue, a scout, a monk, and a knight/fighter.

I'm going to assume it's a multiclass ex-druid/blighter (CD) that has turned themself into a lich. That would be a logical step for the class.

that is the best advice you can get, presuming that you are playing the module we think you are you should have got a staff of life near the start of the campain and a couple of hits of Heal from the cleric out of that baby and it's night night lich, relay against a lich there is no better than a cleric you might need to take a back seat.

08-01-07, 12:26 PM If it's that blighter lich you aren't likely to have as much trouble as you think due to it being highly suboptimal. If however the DM adjusted it, you might be screwed in a combat with it. With that said... align weapon + big bludgeoning weapons + melee guys + orb/ray spells + a round or two = win. May not even need to use a heal charge.
