| Jacob W. Michaels08-07-04, 09:40 PM | I'm running a module that calls for blood bloaters to appear. Reading the monster description, it says characters can spend a full-round action to defend themselves from the little oozes, but I don't expect my players to know that. Any suggestions on how you'd drop hints (or should I just outright tell them) to let them know? Thanks. |

You might be able to keep them off you if you were to make a waves away from yourself." PC: "Okay, I do that." DM: "Keeping them at bay will be a full round action, any break in the waves pushing them back and they will be on you." PC: "Uh, guys. A little help please?" |

For every 5 points you beat the DC by, an additional useful piece of info is gained. Well, the DC might be 15+, I'm not sure. It's in the knowledge skill description in the PHB. |
