Blood Eels [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-02-06, 02:56 PM Im running Expedition to Castle Ravenloft and i make all my own game pieces. I need artwork for the blood eels at the swamp fane but i dont know what book they're from. Anyone know where i can find them?

11-02-06, 06:37 PM Blood eels were the only things that I really couldn't place. Most other creatures in Castle Ravenloft had a source I was familiar with.

Maybe blood eels are a brand new creature?

11-02-06, 07:14 PM Not necessarily. They are just a minor vermin that really don't make an impact beyond the single encounter that they are in. If they were more of a theme monster, I would expect a full write up. But as they are statted enough to run and are not hugely important creatures in the adventure, I don't see them needing more than what is provided.

I know they shaved a few things off the adventure, so maybe there was a write up, but it didn't make the cut.
