As soon as I get my hands on a blue dracolich mini from the upcoming miniature set, War of the Dragon Queen, I plan to run a campaign with the lich as the (or one of the) main villain(s).
However, I'm lost when it comes to a name. Can anyone think of a good name for a blue dragon? I don't have the Draconomicon or any of the other books with dragon names in them.

When making dragon names, I often pick some aspect of the dragon and "name-ify" it.

Blue dragons are blue: Azuriath, Skye, Indigus, Turquerion.
Blue dragons breathe lightning: Stormblaze, Skyfire, Heavenspear.
Blue dragons inhabit deserts: Sandwrath, Dessicar.

If you want it to sound draconic, I recommend adding lots of S's, K's, CH's and Z's.

Good luck!

I actually think that Azuriath the Skyfire would sound cool. I'm going to put it in my OP as a thought. I just want to get more input before I go diving for a name.

Well since I need to get this thing together and haven't gotten any other replies, I guess I'll go with Azuriath the Skyfire. Thanks, Talisman!

Sapphrikatar the Blue is a blue Dracolich mentioned in Monster Manual 3 as one of the 3 runecasters of the Twisted Rune (a cabal of evil necromancers, of which Sapphrikatar is the only dracolich), which created the rot reavers.

An old party of mine once encountered an Old Blue dragon named: Azereem the Blue.

The mini is kinda supposed to represent a specific dracolich named Dragotha.
