It has two disturbingly human-like eyes on each side of its head, and a gently foaming pair of mandibles. Zyngral are a variety of interplanar insect with scavenging tendencies. This portal can travel to a transitory plane from an inner, outer, or material plane, and to any plane from a transitory plane. A will save dc:18 (str-based) negates the confusion and halves the damage. Poison(ex): a zyngral's poison is a toxin that causes rapid bloating identical in effect to a temporary weight gain, accompanied by a purple-blue skin discoloration. The initial damage is temporary weight gain by 1d4 levels (1d4 dex damage in non-WG campaigns), and the bloating effect fades as soon as secondary damage occurs. Secondary damage is 2 con. |
| Soel Griffin07-09-06, 05:48 AM | Just the sort of critter I'd expect to see in a planar locale! Really cool! I dig all of its abilities, especially the body bloating poison. |
| Echoes of Deception07-09-06, 11:09 PM | I gotta say, Read My Glowing, Claw-Like Finger, that is one nasty bug. Ugly as all get out. Dayglow yellow and metallic blue and purple? Whatever immortal being influenced the birth of these things must have been insane. No sense of fashion at all. :P Seriously, though. Good bug. My players are about to start plane hopping, and they're going to need something to do it on, so I think I'll infest their "yacht" with a few of these "wasps". |
| R.M.G.C.L.F.07-13-06, 03:45 PM | What's wrong with metallic blue-purple and dayglo yellow? :( Seriously though, thanks. Glad to know somebody likes my creations enough to use them. ^_^ |
| Ront Iron-Roar07-13-06, 11:51 PM | Interesting. Reminds me of the time I was stung by a bumble-bee in the middle finger and it swelled up to the point I couldn't move my finger at all. The poison for what it does seems a little weak. Maybe, some more bizarre after effects possibly fatigue or something like strength damage? |
| R.M.G.C.L.F.07-13-06, 11:53 PM | Well, it's primarily designed to be used in DnD WG campaigns. With the weight progression, if somebody's rather large to begin with, it can wind up totally immobilizing them. |

| R.M.G.C.L.F.07-14-06, 01:06 AM | It's a bit of a sub-community thing. FA and stuff. |
