11-26-04, 08:52 AM How can the boneclaw get an AoO when the party moves in for melee.. i thought that when an character moves in for melee and doesnt do anything else.. didnt get an AoO...

Or am i wrong? can someone explain?

11-26-04, 09:36 AM Well, when you leave a threatened square, you will get an AoO on yourself from the boneclaw. And, IIRC the boneclaw got like 15 reach, so when you leave the first and second square you will provoke AoO.

Yeah ok.. forgot the leaving the threatend area.. well hope my pc's wont do the only 5 foot step then

11-26-04, 03:18 PM the way to aviod that, well for the first character at least is to not tell them that the boneclaw has that much reach, as it is not obvios from looking at the creature itself...
