It's mouth seems to be open as if it's gasping for air that it can't seem to take in. Its eyes have a sense of great agony and sorrow in them. It has two clawed hands that seem to be grasping in your direction. The DC is 20 for the Fortitude save to remove a negative level. The save DC is Charisma-based. For each such negative level bestowed, the boneyard shambler gains 5 temporary hit points. The boneyard shambler is a being that was put to the stake and burnt to death for unjust reasons. Coming back in the shambling mess of bones and flesh that they are, they seek revenge against the town or community that unjustly put them to an early grave. Sometimes foul necromancers bind the shambler to their service, using their revolting nature and energy draining bite to their own advantage. Strategies and Tactics A boneyard shambler has only one purpose, to seek out the creatures that killed them. They usually sneak up on their enemies in a silent mass of bones and flesh, and then bite them, hopefully draining them sufficiently enough to kill them. If that doesn't kill them they usually will proceed to continue along that path of attacking, usually fronted by a flurry of claws. Ecology The boneyard shambler has no sort of need to consume food or consume any sort of flesh or bodily function. The negative energy and passion to right the wrongs committed upon them are usually enough drive them onwards into their gory purpose. Environment: Any Land or Underground Typical Physical Characteristics: Resembles a mass of bones and flesh that makes out a body, two arms ending in claws protruding from the body, a gaping mouth. Alignment: Always Neutral Evil |
