A Boogeyman ambushing a victim attempts to knock the victim unconscious in the surprise round, using a slam attack and trying to grapple the victim. In a grapple, a Boogeyman can, and will bite with no penalty, causing additional damage and ability damage. When a victim is knocked unconscious, the Boogeyman will use its strength to carry the victim off, then sucks its victim’s soul out. If this damage kills the victim, the victim’s soul is sucked out by the Boogeyman anyway and the victim’s body becomes a Lesser Boogeyman. The victim cannot be revived by any spell known to any race. Even such mighty spells like wish or miracle have a 50% chance of failure. I'm thinking of using these guys for a one shot (Made by me), Night of the Boogeyman, that I've been thinking of running. |
| Punkyojimbo03-24-05, 10:32 AM | I like the overall theme but i think that the soul suck should allow for wish and miracle to be fully effective just because its so easy fpr a boogeyman to make someone helpless enough to use that ability. |
| Amyris03-24-05, 10:31 PM | I guess you're right. A Boogeyman is strong enough to make someone helpless easily, so I think you've got a point there. Thanks for the feedback. |
