Just an idea we had one night after a dust up with a bunch of trolls. Subdue said trolls and stuff them into stout boxes, literally stuff them in, no room to maneuver. Then, during a siege, for example, launch them over the walls with a catapult. Chaos ensues.

We're also working on the defense applications of captured cockatrices.

The troll thing, a lovely tactic. One of the weirdest ammo types in the game...(i can just imagine: 'Yes, i'd like 500 head-sized rocks, 300 man-sized boulders and 50 troll-in-a-box's').

The cockatrice thing, though a little too difficult to be sure of personal safety. But if you want monster ideas, hire a couple of living siege weapons - hulking hurlers (plus you'd get the chance to watch a troll unknowingly lauching another troll at the enemy).

heh heh heh, awsome!

what if you put the cockatrice in a thing where you open a flap while you point it, and ZZAP! their stone?
