I just got Races of the Dragon today and was looking at all the new options for Hlaf-Dragons, and began looking through my archives of True Dragons and trying to think of what bonusses a Half Dragon would receive were there draconic parent a True Dragon that wasn't covered in book format, such as the True Dragons from the various articles on wizards.com or in paizo's magazines. I came across the Brainstealer Dragon (from Dragon issue #337 ) and ran up against a question of genetics. Can a Brainstealer Dragon produce a Half-Dragon offspring? It is implied taht Brainstealers are True Dragons taht have been subjected to Ceretomorphosis (or whatever that process is called where they create new illithids), which would put them in the same catagorie as Urophions and Half-Illithids, But since they are still technically True Dragons, could they still have offspring, as per the Half-Dragon template or the Draconic Heritage feat? just wondered about people's thoughts on this matter.
