| JBW09-17-05, 03:03 AM | In Magic of Incarnum, there is a Giant (Totem Giant) that, unlike other Giants, has a Good Will save (and a Good Fort save). Why? Wouldn't it have been better to have given the Totem Giant a +4 Racial Bonus to Will Saves (not a great solution), or perhaps used some of the Incarnum Feats that boost Will saves (this would actually work out rahter well) rather than breaking the rules? For what it's worth I see this as little different than a Fighter 'variant' that has a Good Will save (and a Good Fort save) without giving up anything. Jay |
