Derren S. 06-23-03, 05:10 AM	I was bulding a Fang dragon with some class levels while I found the formula in the MM2 for determining the breath weapon DC. I wanted to recalculate the new DC when I noticed that the Fang dragon doesn't follow this formula (He uses Cha instead of Con). I checked the other dragons in the MoF, MM and MM2 and all dragons follow the formula from the MM2 (10+1/2HD+Con) except the Fang and the Shadow dragon (Who use Cha) Is this an error or is this because the breath weapons of Fang and Shadow dragons do ability damage? But if yes, why isn't the breath weapon DC different for the gold dragons weakening gas?
ssvegeta555 06-23-03, 11:09 AM	Well I looked in the MM and saw that ability and energy drain use the formula 10 + Half HD + Cha modifier. So that why the 2 dragons in MoF use this formuala. If you look the gold dragons cha and con are always in the same modifier of that score. except a few dragon ages like, young adult and mature adult, so I would lower the breath DC by 1 if you use the weakening gas. Hope that helps
