(alternate form ability isn't part of it). I personally think Frenzy is a Warfoged Scout (MM3) with rogue levels and max ranks in climb, dicipher script, disable device, disguise, hide, open lock, and tumble. His equipment consists of at least the following: 2 +1 reloading hand crossbows chakrams (unkown number) He would have to have EWP (chakram). Any other ideas to make him? |
| Orchomenos07-17-07, 04:13 PM | Study Clockwork (Ex): As a Full Round action, Frenzy can study a clockwork object (any object with some kind of mechanism), and make a DC15 Intelligence check to understand its intern mechanism. If the check is successful, this object becomes his new Alternate Form. Alternate Form (Ex): As a Standard Action, Frenzy can change into his adopted form of a clockwork object. He gets a +20 bonus on his Disguise check to pass for this object. |

| Dracomortis07-18-07, 08:32 PM | Nice. But, it would have to be within a certian size of Frenzy. (small or tiny is my guess) Frenzy transformed into a cell phone at one point, which would be a Diminutive object, and given the All-Spark's ability to compact down to several hundredths of its normal size, I'd probably say that a Transformer can assume the appearance of any device equal to its own size or smaller. |

False. That is the reason why Megatron transforms in a alien-like jet, instead of a gun. In the beginning, Frenzy was small-size, and he transformed into a stereo chain. But he was beheaded by Mikaela (), who kicked his head away. But the head, still alive (and now diminutive-size), found her bag and her cellphone. Frenzy scanned the cellphone, and adopted this form. SO I agree that the alternate form should be of the same size than Frenzy. |
| Warforged Goblin07-19-07, 01:29 PM | False. That is the reason why Megatron transforms in a alien-like jet, instead of a gun. Actually, the only reason Megatron didn't transform into anything of this planet is because he didn't scan anything. SO I agree that the alternate form should be of the same size than Frenzy. Seconded. In addition to the rogue levels, I'd toss at least one level of Scout on there as well. Also, what about the link to the rest of the Decepticons? It was too far to be telepathy. Maybe a telepathy effect with the only limits being that those in mental contact must be on the same plane? |

SO I agree that the alternate form should be of the same size than Frenzy. I'd say the stero was a size category smller. (Tiny), so I think the alternate form would be small or 1 size categroy smller. I have to wonder though, why the scout level suggestion? |
| Warforged Goblin07-20-07, 06:53 AM | I have to wonder though, why the scout level suggestion? All the recon work he did. Also, when he took out the two guards on the plane, they obvisouly got the drop on him. He moved (10 ft? Possibly) and chucked his Ninjacon Death-Shurikens. Level 1 human warriors: 5 - 9 Hp. That +1d6 from skirmish helped. |
| Dracomortis07-20-07, 12:48 PM | False. That is the reason why Megatron transforms in a alien-like jet, instead of a gun. Megatron transformed into a jet instead of a gun because a gun has no ability to move and would thus be largely ineffective at getting anything done :D. Also, as Warforged Goblin pointed out, Megatron did not have time to scan any devices from our world before he crash landed, and he had to enter combat pretty much as soon as he was thawed out, so he relied on the previous form he already had available - that of the alien jet. This might be true, but we don't know whether Frenzy took up the guise of a cell phone because he was now small enough to do so or simply because it was the only object Mikaela had that he could imitate - from the movie, it seems that Transformers can only take the form of electronic devices. Frenzy took up the form of a stereo because it was presumably the first suitable device he came upon. Later on, he took the form of a cell phone because it was the most appropriate at the time. There doesn't seem to be any suggestion from the movie that a Transformer can't assume a form smaller than itself, and indeed the All-Spark seems to confirm that they do possess that ability. |
| Orchomenos07-20-07, 07:16 PM | From the Wikipedia page about the Transformers movie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_%28film%29): Designs began in June 2005, with Hasbro heavily collaborating on the live action interpretations of their characters.[1] In keeping with Michael Bay's desire to make Transformers realistic, the robots were designed more intricately to look more three-dimensional,[34] as well as reflect their alien origins.[41] Morphing in transformations was restricted, unlike the cartoon or comic books, so every character stays the same size, which explains their choice of Earth forms.[5] Optimus Prime's original cab over truck form was rejected as it would make him only 23 feet tall, so Bay decided to use the Peterbilt, the largest truck available. I'm not that set on my point, it's just to show where I took my information. :D |

But hey, I like being difficult like that. :D |
| snakeman83007-23-07, 09:45 AM | Plus, if they could take on forms (much) smaller then their own, why didn't the maniacal cell-phone become car-sized? Instead, it stayed (about) the same size. |
| Dracomortis07-24-07, 01:09 PM | Plus, if they could take on forms (much) smaller then their own, why didn't the maniacal cell-phone become car-sized? Instead, it stayed (about) the same size. My reasoning? It's much easier to compact something down to a smaller size than it is to expand it out to a larger size. In-movie reason? Probably because it would have been a lot more noticeable if Frenzy tried to follow them as a car or something of a similar size than if he took the form of Mikaela's cell phone. That, and as far as we know, Frenzy never scanned a car, which means he couldn't take the form of a car. |
| Skritz_the_Lizardmen07-24-07, 02:41 PM | Frenzy is small, and his head is Diminutive. He lost most of his body, thats why he can transform into a cellphone. |
| snakeman83007-24-07, 03:27 PM | Frenzy is small, and his head is Diminutive. He lost most of his body, thats why he can transform into a cellphone. And that is what I believe as well. Amazingly, I am now actually playing Frenzy. It's amusing, not because it's from a movie and because he is so absolutely awesome, but because nobody can understand him. My Frenzy, while capable of speaking Common, only speaks Toshcar (Look in Lords of Madness) The misunderstandings are quite funny. |
