MystErikEry 01-19-05, 03:43 PM	I need some help statting a butterfly... I would say it has 0 ft land speed and a 30 ft fly speed (perfect), but I don't know about its other basic statistics. Perhaps near-1 Str, near-1 Con, 1 Int (unless it would be Mindless)... but how much Dex, Wis, and Cha? I suppose it would count as Vermin? Ah, isn't there a book that discusses a butterfly familiar for Wizards/Sorcerers? What kind of stats does it have? >_> <_< :D
obrysii 01-19-05, 03:52 PM	It would probably have Average or Good manuverability. Surely a butterfly is not more manuverable than a humming bird.
VampricNecromancer 01-19-05, 03:52 PM	It is in one of the Dragon Mags(can't remember Number) it is a Special Familiar for Transmuters and Sorcerers that grants +3 to Spellcraft checks, it uses the stats of a (sparrow ?) found in the DMG under Improved Familiar feat, only fine size
MystErikEry 01-19-05, 04:11 PM	Ah, I was under the impression that Good fly speed didn't let the flier stop and still fly, but Good lets you do that, so I'll make it have Good maneuverability... *investigates the sparrow's stats* Hey, there is no sparrow! It'd probably be best to use a Raven's stats, since it's probably closest, except change it to Diminuative or Fine, and change the fly speed...
