| Draegun Fury08-27-06, 04:58 PM | Can a Lich Polymorph (or use an Epic: Transform Spell) his Phylactery? |
| Sorcen_Anenooata08-27-06, 05:06 PM | No idea, I hope so though because that could make for some very interesting plot twists. |
| Secrets Untold08-27-06, 08:18 PM | No rules against it, but you'd need Polymorph any Object, because pylacteries aren't livin...or you. |
| Draegun Fury08-28-06, 04:22 PM | So the beautiful girl next door could be a Lich's Phylactery? I think it make's keeping you Phylactery safe alot easier (transform it into some insanely tough sea monster or something). Cheers. |
| PhaedrusXY08-28-06, 04:30 PM | Hmm... you'd probably have to use the Epic seed. Polymorph Any Object doesn't work on magic items, and I think most DMs would definitely rule that a lich's phylactery is a magic item. Good idea, though. :D |
| Darcon_Firedrake08-28-06, 06:13 PM | I would say you could use an animate object spell then a polymorph spell and permanecy, should do what you want to do.. |
