Can air elementals carry things? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Nothing in their description indicates they couldn't carry a person (for example) over a mountain, or wield a weapon, however, logically it doesn't seem like a creature made out of air could do such things...I suppose the same might be asked of a fire elemental (perhaps if the person had immunity to fire or something). Just curious. Thanks.

Maybe they could create a small, centralized air current to lift said item or person.
Or something. I'm no weatherman.

Well. If they have a strength score, than they can carry things.

If you want to visualize, imagine how tornados and other storms lift things: a lot of wind blasting from beneath, or from the side...or where ever else.
