With that little information we cannot possibly CR it.

Just eyeing it, I'd say CR 5 because of the damage that the Fireshot puts out. Without that, a CR 3.

What more do you need? I am only missing Feats, treasure, organization and saves because I have no idea what they are yet. There is no LA.
Oh it has darkvision.
Let me know.

First the concept is valid and actual fairly good, but there are editorial mistakes in the creature entry.

(feats are based on HD of creature, so are saves [plus other modifiers like ability], this one being undead thus with good Will saves and 1 feat, unless it gets bonus feats...) BTW holy weapons count as Good aligned for overcoming damage reduction so the DR listing is redundant.

"Magical Undead" is not a creature type. Your HP calculation is off (for 2d12 it should be 13hp) Con is not '0' it is '-' for a non-ability.

also is flaming body ex or su?

Hope that helps

Okay so I will use the saves similar to that of a skeleton then. The feat I have to decide on. Fixed the Holy/Good DR thing and the reason I put - 0 in the CON score just so it wouldn't look like --. Flaming body is Supernatural and I forgot to put that in first time around. HP, to me, is arbitrary as I vary the strengths of monsters.
Thanks for the tips.

Still, does anyone know of an appropriate CR or is CR5 pretty much correct?

If you could try to put it into the standard monster format, we might be able to better understand it.

Size/Type:
Hit Dice:
Initiative:
Speed:
Armor Class:
Base Attack/Grapple:
Attack:
Full Attack:
Space/Reach:
Special Attacks:
Special Qualities:
Saves:
Abilities:
Skills:
Feats:
Environment:
Organization:
Challenge Rating:
Treasure:
Alignment:
Advancement:
Level Adjustment:

And as well: Just type out "Str" instead of putting "S"...it's easier to understand and it's only two letters more  . The DC is also off. It should be 11 or even lower (if it is cha based, it would be DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Cha mod, which is -4 so it would be 11-4 or DC 7).

And: Flavor! Monsters are not just stat blocks!

Otherwise, I'd say CR 3.

Okay I will try that. This evening I will "properly" post this creature.

Thanks for all the insights so far.

Okay here it goes...
This skeletal figure has a flaming skull and is draped in a heavy, long leather overcoat. It seems his entire body is in flames. Long and sharp metal talons extend from the cuff of the coat and dance back and forth across from one another creating a metallic scraping sound. With each heavily booted step a faint ringing of bells can be heard.
Skeleton - Velsharoon Summoned
Medium Undead
Hit Dice: 2d12 (13 hp)
Initiative: +5
Speed: 30 ft. (they actually kind of levitate when they move and not actually walk)
AC: 15 (+1 Leather, +1 Dexterity, +3 Natural)
Base Attack/Grapple: +1/+4
Attacks: Razorclaw +4 melee or Fireshot
Full Attack: 2 Razorclaws (1d6+3/19-20x2) or Fireshot (3d6 + Special)
Space/Reach: 5 ft./5ft.
Special Attacks: Fireshot (Su) - can project a fire blast up to 60ft. Damage is 3d6. Reflex DC 13 for half damage. If failed defender incurs another 1d6 next round. This attack ignores SR, is a full round action, and can be fired once every 1d4 rounds.
Special Qaulities:Darkvision 60 ft., Undead traits, +2 turn resistance, DR 2/Good Aligned Weapon, or Bludgeoning, Firebody, Sound Language
Firebody (Su) - Every attack that is made with a normal, non aligned or non magical weapon requires the wielder to make a Fortitude save DC 13. If failed the weapon is destroyed and the weilder takes 1d4 damage. If the save is successful no damage is taken but th weapon is still destroyed. Unarmed strikes incur 1d4 points of damage to the attacker. This also replaces an undeads Cold immunity with Fire immunity. Cold damage deals an extra 50% of damage.
Sound Language (Ex) - With every scrape of its metal talons and ringing of booted steps a Velsharoon Summoned can communicate simple commands to other summoned around it. Commands are limited to "enemy here", "need help", "hold" and "attack". Of course these are not literal interpretations.
Saves: Fort +0 Reflex +1 Will +4
Abilities: Str 16 Dex 12 Con - Int 10 Wis 12 Cha 5
Skills: Listen +3, Spot +3
Feats: Improved Initiative, Alertness
Environment: Any
Organization: Any
Challenge Rating: ???
Treasure: None
Alignment: Always Neutral Evil
Advancement: None
Level Adjustment: --

The look you can think of is the comic guy Ghostrider minus the chain and bike.
Basically these are shock troops created by Clerics of Velsharoon in my campaign. They attack all living creatures on sight. The Summoned of Velsharoon can be commanded by any Velsharoon Cleric weilding a holy symbol of Velsharoon and can only move, attack or defend anything within a set perimeter which must be given after completion of the Create Undead spell and ritual. The Range cap is 1/4 mile per caster level. Multiple summoned can be controlled by a single cleric regardless of max HD usually allowed to be controlled.

Hope that helps!!

The will save is wrong, if I recall correctly.

Also, there is no need for you to put the "ignores SR" in the Fireshot entry: it is a Supernatural power, and therefore ignores SR by way of it's type.

Nope. +1 every 2 HD +2 and +1 for Wisdom.

Okay besides the SR thing anyone got any ideas on CR? Besides I really do not see what text (and text editing) has to do with CR.
