| Chronomage07-17-04, 04:41 AM | The twig blight from the Monster Manual II - with the v3.5 update - has: Hide +8, Listen +1, Move Silently +4, Spot +1 They have the stealthy feat, and Dex 13, Wis 11. They are small. That gives us: Hide +7 natch, Move Silently +3 natch, and that's it. Please note that plants in 3.5 can have skill points, and gain 2+ Int modifier (the Twig Blight has 5 which equals -3, with a minimum of 1, times by 4). They are therefore recieving one of two things: Either a +1 racial bonus to all skills, or they have one skill point spent for one rank in each skill. It is possible for plants to have skill points, they must simply not be mindless which is an option. But if they have mindless, which equates to immunity to mind affecting effects (a quality which they are listed as possessing), the +1 must be a racial bonus to all skills. That, at least, is the two options I know of. The other option is that they are immune to mind affecting effects, but mindless is not a necessary prerequisite. Is that the case? |
