Celestial creatures [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-26-04, 01:20 PM Since a celestial creature is not an animal, it is a magical beast, it can't be spoken to with a Speak with Animals spell.

Besides using the Tongues spell, can it be spoken to or understand any other language except celestial ??

09-26-04, 04:10 PM Well, since celestial animals all have intelligence scores of at least three, a celestial animal should be able to learn to read and understand (although writing mighe be hard, and speaking even more so) a language (most likely celestial), although they might not understand it very well, being, as they are, not exactly on the bright side of the intelligence scale...

For example, a summoned celestial eagle.
