| UnrelentingHoror09-02-07, 10:20 PM | Yes Cenobites, like in hellraiser. I'm haveing trouble comeing up with a template for them. Some things I know I want: -Applicable only to humanoids. -Some minor stat adjustments. -one or two bonus deformity feats. -Type change to outsider. -Alignment Always Lawful Evil. -maybe some spell like abilitys like Locate person or something and teleport, maybe even cone of fear. -Likely some sort of damage reduction, resistances, and possibly fast healing or regeneration. Although that may be dependent on them being in the Labyrinth in the box. -And finally some sort of choosable aspect, kind of like the hellbred. Maybe it happens at a certain number of HD so its a scaling ability, possibly do the same thing with some of the spells. Example aspects would be: -Aspect of the Kyton(pinhead would have this) the cenobite is able to summon several barbed/hooked animate chains from dark corners of the room to tear his enemies apart. If all the chains hit in one round of combat they may attempt a rend attack automatically. -Aspect of Fear(The female cenobite) The cenobite is able to cause several unnerving effects, scratches in walls bleeding etc. as well as producing aweful noises. Non-outsiders takes a moral penalty on attack rolls and saves equal to the cenobites HD divided by four, rounding up. -Aspect of leviathans eye(name will get better later lol) (The chatterer and tubby cenobites) Having lost your eyes through extreme alteration, some of your other senses have been supernaturally enhanced. Cenobite gains Blindsight out to 80ft. and scent. Also maybe some other benefit. -others maybe? So I'm asking does anyone else have some insight into my project? |

In all printed material (i.e. the comics) the Cenobites regard themselves as an aspect of Law, and humans as an aspect of Chaos. Changing humanity into themselves is a way of controlling that CHaos. |

Yeah also the whole verry reserved attitude, differing to authority figures constantly, forever bound by and working within rules like with the box and whatnot.... that kind of thing. Thought it kind of waranted LE. Also yeah, I figured I might deviate abit from the kyton's animate chains power when coppying it for the cenobites as the chains kind of came out of nowhere at times and throwing in a mechanic for the ripping apart thingie would be awesome I thought. :) |
