C) i'm guessing you can't use mounted combat ot ride yourself right? D) can i use trample and therefore the tactical feat chavalry charger? E) what happens if i'm a paladin do i get something other then a mount? |

They automatically may inflict X2 damage with a lance when charging, even when not mounted. C. Ignoring the obvious bad pun; no, a centaur cannot use Mounted Combat if not somehow mounted on another creature. D. It's the DM's call on this one, but I'd say that a centaur should be eligable for the Trample feat as well and thus could take chavalry charger. E. Again, DM's call, but it would make sense to house-rule some sort of alternate animal companion of roughly the same power as a warhorse, but not used for riding. |

Do you have a source for this? I'm pretty sure this is a house rule. The way I adjudicate centaurs is this: the mounted combat feat (and ride skill) doesn't exist for them. It isn't a prerequist to anything, nor are they eligable to use it. I've never had a player want to be a centaur mounted on something. |
