02-18-06, 04:46 PM well, I was gonna go on and on about the storey line of the campiagn (cuz its brilliant), but all I need to know is....

Monster Manual #3

As a "Special Ability", they get a 2D6 Sneak Attack when they flank someone, (or for the sake of argument, when they catch sumone off guard that gets denied their Dex bonus to AC), now..my Changeling is a First lvl Rouge, followed by 10 levels of Sorceror. My questions are the following....

#1 Is his Sneak Attack Damage now 3D6 (2D6 Race + 1D6 Rouge)?

#2 Speak Language...This is a skill...so...he can try and use ANY language with a proper skill check? Is there a way to say he learns a full language (aside for his Bonus Language by Intellegance) using this skill?

#3 If one of my PC's manage to beat his Disguise Check (which isnt likely, since he has a +10 Racial and a 21 CHA), what would be a good way to point out that they notice sumthing? (If yew could, explain it to me in the rules of 5/10/20 over the DC/Skill Check)

02-18-06, 05:26 PM that 2d6 sneak attack damage was an ability of the lvl 3 changeling rogue, not the race itself

the speak language skill allows you to learn languages by spending skill points. Try looking in the players handbook before asking us

Something like this?

+5: Something's not right--they look a little vague, without the details such as the little wrinkles, scars or marks that most people pick up over their life. A little too perfect.

+10: You can see little imperfections--tiny patches of pale, whitish skin. They walk as if they were someone of a completely different weight.

+20: They don't have the usual mannerisms that other people of this race do have. If they do, there's a short pause as if they need to think about what their response is.They must be a shapechanger of some sort, rather than a normal person in disguise.

And don't forget the modifiers for age, race or gender, as well as the bonuses on spotting the disguise based on familiarity with the subject. They'll all be under the skill.

02-19-06, 06:59 PM I was trying to help, that sneak attack is from class levels, and I don't want your PCs getting angry at you. Plus, if you look at the statblocks, only the rogue has sneak attack, the warrior doesn't.

by the way, have we met? You seem even more hostile towards me than most people. I would like to apologize if I have caused you any offense in the past, but I asure that I am not out to get anyone.
