Chessboard Dragons [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-14-07, 03:10 PM Alright, this has been bothering me for awhile.
I know I've read in one of the source books about a dragon variant that gives up its spellcasting ability and plays a massive game of chess with other dragons of similar ilk, but using mortals and nations as pawns. In return for their lack of spells, they end up with a ton of other abilities, including the ability to bestow some power on their chosen champions. I'm going to start a game and I wanted to use them, the problem is, I don't know what book they are from. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
