was_fired 03-02-05, 05:55 AM	The leonal roar ability states that it has a fortitude save to negate. However it is unclear if this is refering to the sonic damage or the holy word effect. In my last game I ruled this to only be for the sonic damage (the PC failed anyways) however since he got away it is likely this issue will come up again. So is the save only for the sonic damage since the alignment word series of spells has no save by default?
Morwen 03-02-05, 09:53 AM	The Fortitude save is only for the sonic damage. For the effects of the Holy Word portion of the ability, refer to the PHB (or the SRD). There is no save for most of that, but a Will save to resist Banishment in some cases.
