Shima 02-21-04, 06:08 PM	When a creature makes its full attack Lets say: +24 (bite), +19 (2 claws), +14 (tail slap) He gets 4 attacks right? But shouldn't it be +24(bite), +19(claw), +14(claw), +9(tail)?
DragonWatcher 02-21-04, 07:34 PM	Actually, to the best of my recollection it should be: +24 (Bite), +19 (2 Claws), +19 (Tail Slap). [Yep: 4 Attacks] This is just from memory here, so don't go flamming me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain that according to the Monster Manual, every creature has one primary attack and all the rest of their attacks are considered secondary. Primary attacks are made normally, with all secondary attacks at -5 from the primary attack no matter how many secondary attacks the creature has (this is not a cumulative -5 like that for characters). Creatures with the Multiattack feat take only a -2 to each secondary attack. Creatures and characters work quite differently. I justify it with the fact that for most creatures, these are natural weapons, and it is easier for them to use them all than for a character to swing a sword in one hand, an axe in the other, and make multiple attacks with each. However, that's just my justification for the rules that WotC has created... feel free to come up with your own. :) I hope this helps.
