Ok I have a few adventure idea's and though this might not be the right place for adventure hooks it is the right place for what I need. I'm wanting to create a "Van Helsing" type game where the characters are forced to battle creatures such as the classic monsters from literature. I have a possesed flesh golem for Frankenstien that is going on a killing sprey. A ghost pirate ship that was cursed by a powerful vampire for stealing what they thought was treasure but turned out to be soil from the vampire home world. The mage turned vampire cursed the ship and all aboard to repeat the run from the his land to thier hideout. Not all the details are worked out on this one.

I want to include such things as the mummy, the invisable man, creature from the black lagoon, dr jeckyl and mr hyde, jack the ripper and any other well known dangerous or monsterous character real or fictional. Any idea's?

For a good Jack the Ripper story, I suggest:
The hour of the knife (http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_297_311&products_id=1550&). I played it a few years ago and It was great.

For a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hide story, how about a werewolf who, because of a mishap that happened while a cleric was trying to cure his lycanthropy, must make a control shape skill check for involuntary change every 10 minutes ?

I was kind of leaning more to a alchemist looking for a powerful strength potion or maybe a beauty potion gone wrong that changes him into a half troll type creature. The only problem is it totally warp his mond while transformed and though painful to drink it is also highly addictive.

To add to that I might be able to combine the hyde and ripper stories. The Good Alchemist becomes obsest with a cure for his ill son who is just to small and frail to survive the harsh winter much longer. In his studies of the occult he comes across a potion that can give strength and vigger to the lad. The catch is it requires the murdered soul of lustful a woman. He finally gives on and kills the first of his victims and creates the potion. Unwilling to subject his son to an untested experiment her drinks it himself. The side effect of the potion is more dire then he dared fear. His body mutates into a hulking beast of a man and his lust from carnage knows no bounds. After a night of killing her returns home to change back and sleep until night fall. The addiction to the potion is weak at first allowing the few days needed to make more but one the final day madness over takes him until he drinks his latest concoction. The cycle repeats until the alchemist is stopped. You could also use lycanthrope as part of this however I do plan to do a werewolf story too.

The erinyes is a classic "fallen angel" type of monster.

If you're thinking of putting in ghosts, don't forget that spectres and wraiths can haunt places as well.

A quasit, imp, or homunculus can be the sidekick for weird occultist/spiritist sort of bad guy.

You could have a harpy, medusa, centaur, minotaur, or cyclops (one-eyed giant) come from Greece, or whatever Greece-like country your world has.

You could have a sphynx come up from Egypt with the mummy (or from Greece).

A common criminal could come across a bottle containing some sort of genie, and use it to become a criminal mastermind.
