Cohort entry [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-09-04, 03:58 PM Since I find no way to search these forums making them almost useless unless I just happen to be too tired to find the search button I thought I would ask a question that may have been posted numerous times before ::sigh::.

The cohort entry in MM has no description it just says +n, or does it have a description somewhere that I am missing?

09-09-04, 05:32 PM Do you mean when it says Level Adjustment: +4 (Cohort), for example?
If so, that simply means that while the monster is not suitable for a player character to use, but can still be used as a cohort, using the LA to work out its ECL for your max cohort level with the leadership feat.

If you've searched (heh) a way to search, then you must have seen the header that's on every page:
SEARCH is still turned off while we are getting off the ground and re-indexing--a lengthy process--occurs.

But your question was, actually, one that isn't asked every time the previous thread on the subject slips to the second page (like "3.5. Monster Manual 2"), so that's OK.

As for your question's answer, just go back to read Trolls' post again and pretend I typed it too. :D

09-09-04, 09:46 PM I think I was thrown off by the fact it said SearchWizards as if I need some sort of magical item made, could also have something to do with not maximizing the window as to not get busted at work.
