Raster 04-26-04, 10:56 AM	Is LA for Cohorts calculated the same as for PCs, with the exception of the creature only being intended as a cohort, or is it calculated differently? Does anyone know some good guidelines for calculating it if it's different? The creatures I'm specifically interested in as cohorts are Lantern Archons and Owlbears.
ieattrollsforbreakfast 04-26-04, 01:29 PM	Cohort LA is the same, its just indicated that way to show that the monsters dont make good PCs, only cohorts. For example, the griffon has an LA, so in theory could be played as a PC, but the fact that it can't talk means it cant be played and so is only good as a cohort. (The ECL of a lantern archon is 5)
