| The Happy Gank09-27-04, 06:55 PM | How many Collosal monsters are there in D & D? Also what are the names of the collosal monsters? Gee..name them all? That's a collosal task in itself... :D Well, there's the all-mighty Tarrasque, IIRC, as well as the Juggernaut...that's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's many more than what you could shake a stick at. Many giants would fall under this category... |
| Bartmanhomer09-27-04, 06:58 PM | What IIRC? |
| The Vorpal Tribble09-27-04, 06:59 PM | Searched through the Monster Manual, Monsters of Faerun and the Expanded Psionics Handbook and these are the only ones I can find: Dragons: Brown Red Gold Silver Uncarnate Other: Skeleton Terrasque (of course) |
| Ropp'cht'cht09-27-04, 07:07 PM | A glance through the MMII shows me the Megapede, the Dread Linnorm, the Leviathan, the Mountain Giant, and the Seismosaurus. The bigger baleen whales are Colossal, too. Really, you can find any number of Colossal creatures, depending on what sources you use. If you turn to to third party supplements...you can find many, many more. |
| The Vorpal Tribble09-27-04, 07:08 PM | Ohh, and one more: Yo momma! :P |
| The Happy Gank09-28-04, 07:57 AM | Oops...the Juggernaut's not collosal. I guess I was thinking of the Leviathan. Others: -Chaos Roc -Cloud Ray both from MMII |
| The Happy Gank09-28-04, 07:59 AM | What IIRC? IIRC is an abbreviation for "If I remember correctly...." Sorry about the confusion if you thought it was a monster. |
| Bartmanhomer09-28-04, 06:32 PM | It's ok, Happy Gank. And I have one thing to say about this forum. THIS FORUM ROCKS! |
| green_yawgmoth09-29-04, 12:45 AM | In the ELH, theres... oh hell. It'd be faster to just list the things that aren't colossal in that book's monster section. http://photobucket.com/albums/v91/yawgmoth/kittyjig.gif |
| Joe Khol09-29-04, 07:26 AM | IIRC is an abbreviation for "If I remember correctly...." Sorry about the confusion if you thought it was a monster. An orc with a bad memory maybe ;) |
| Luminosity09-29-04, 07:46 AM | There are also colossal centipedes and scorpions. |
| The Happy Gank09-29-04, 07:48 AM | Or IIRC could mean the "Insanely Insidious Reptilian Creature...." :) ;) |
| The Happy Gank09-29-04, 07:49 AM | There are also colossal centipedes and scorpions. Right, the megapede from MMII is a collosal creature. |
| gradea09-29-04, 03:56 PM | the vermin in the MM go up to collosal, and you can very easily advance ANYTHING to collosal (3.5 MM has rules on advancing in the back of the book) |
| Bartmanhomer09-29-04, 07:08 PM | Ok. *Bartmanhomer is writing all the monster down with his notebook.* :D |
