| dralin05-15-05, 01:11 PM | Is it possible to add two templates onto one creature? EX:Half-Dragon/Half-Fey on a Wood Elf edit: and would the abilites stack? |
| Exomnium05-15-05, 01:13 PM | Yes. SS says that two Half templates makes thirds. (Which happens to be a biological impossibility) |
| steenan05-16-05, 05:06 AM | SS says that two Half templates makes thirds. (Which happens to be a biological impossibility) No. SS says, that two halfs make quarters. If you put half-fey and half-dragon on a wood elf, you'll get quarter-fey-quarter-dragon wood elf (it also gives you many combinations of who your parents were: they could be a half-dragon wood elf and a half-fey wood elf, but also a wood elf and a half-dragon nymph or something like this). BTW i wonder, how would a half-dragon nymph (or should it be a half-fey dragon?) look like. :D |
| dralin05-16-05, 08:37 AM | my best guess would be the best looking half-dragon human butterfly youve ever seen :heehee |

| mathx31405-16-05, 06:37 PM | good old common sence says template mixing is a bad idea and often highly illogical Not necessarily illogical. For instance, in Eberron, there's Vol, the half-dragon lich (elf?). If you have some who has an inhereted template, there's nothing wrong with adding in an acquired template. Of course, it's not like any of us want to see a paragon psuedonatural half-dragon half-fiend, half-vampire lich chicken soon. |
