This is an idea I had for a planar cohort, but I guess she'd work well in other environments as well. Just thought I'd run her by you lot and see what you think of her. Please also check if I made any errors along the way or something doesn't make sense.

The idea is to advance her into the Horizon Walker PrC next level (she meets the pre-req's). She's generally driven to exterminate undead. To that end she wields 2 bludgeoning weapons and has the Nemesis feat to discern if there are any near her.

Any (improvement) suggestions and comments are welcome.

She's got an AWFUL lot of magic items for a fifth-level character, and she can only cast 4 1st-level Ranger spells.

A half-celestial aasimar? How does that work?

She might be a 5th level character, but because she's an Aasimar and half-celestial her ECL = 10, when you consider that she only has the magic items of a 10th lvl NPC.

Also she's not allowed to cast any Ranger spells AFAIK, but the spell-like abilities she has come from the half-celestial template.

Okay, so technically Aasimar is allready half-celestial. She's just the "holier then thou" kind of Aasimar. I guess she could be the first in a new line of Aasimar, where the blood of the origional celestial gets weaker and weaker as new generations come. Could mean that she has REALLY strong celestial blood.

Not sure, it worked game-mechanic wise, but story-wise it takes a little more imagination.

Tiefling and Aasimir are not half fiendish or celestial creature. They have outsider ancestry but more diluted. Otherwise their stats would be the same as if you applied the half-fiend/celestial template to a human.
A half celestial Aasimir comes from a line of aasimir. Their parent then had a child with a full blown celestial and the half celestial Aasimir is the result. They basically got another injection of celestial blood into the line.

For Krispieman - I see nothing truly out of place with this except trying to explain the half-celestial template dropped on an Aasimar. I suppose it can indeed be explained though. As far as the magic items go, I'd probably start her with less, if a player wants to utilize her services they will likely give her some magical "gifts" as the campaign progresses. On a basic level though, I like the idea.

For Mithral Icesilver - Not to be derogatory, but it seems to be you are fudging all rules if you were to allow this templated creature. How can a creature be celestial and half-celestial? Seems to be it would have to be one or the other. Same with half-fiendish and fiendish. Also, celestial and fiendish seem obviously mutually exclusive, but maybe that's just me. By adding all of the half-dragon templates you would be adding the "evil" half-dragon templates and the "good" half-dragon templates which would again seem obviously mutually exclusive to me. Having started the "what if" creature with tarrasque and then ended with a ghost just seems completely out of place to me. As a DM, my players would likely accuse me of smoking crack if I created a "grudge" monster even moderately similar to this one.

Quoted from your sig:
Want to make a CR 49 undead?
1. Take a tarrasque. (CR 20)
2. Make it Celestial. (CR 22)
3. Tack on 5 different Half-Dragon Templates, ending on a metallic dragon. (CR 32)
4. Make it Half-Celestial. (CR 33)
5. Make it Half-Fiendish. (CR 35)
6. Make it Fiendish. (CR 37)
7. Add on the other 5 Half-Dragon Templates, ending on whatever. (CR 47)
8. Make it a Ghost. (CR 49)
Uses all but 3 of the templates in the MM, kicks it up 29 CR points, and best of all ... YOU DON'T HAVE TO FUDGE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
