Games_R_life 11-15-07, 07:31 PM	Is a Wemic a Lamia? Or are they different? Are they just the same thing witha different name? I was planning on putting in some Lamia and wemics intoa campaign but now I'm confused. Wemics are essentially are lion-based centaurs (human torso and lion body) and in Races of Faerun they are monstrous humanoids (and playable as a PC race), while lamia are usually evil and are monstrous beasts who cast illusions on their prey. These aren't the only lion-like creatures either! You can use lammasu (which are generally good aligned and have wings), and Leonals which have lion-heads on human bodies. Someone definitely had a thing for lion-like creatures. Not to mention all those sphinxes.... Debby
