| Callahan07-19-06, 10:40 AM | Well zombies can't make partial actions if that's what you mean by no AoO. The immunity to flanking is just plain false. |
| Sergikins07-19-06, 11:08 AM | i thought they could only take partial actions, which is one of the things contributing to this crazy idea i read smoewhere they can't take AoOs |
| Cravensson07-19-06, 11:20 AM | According to 3.5 SRD, Zombies can take Single actions only. I'm not sure if that limits their ability to make AOOs or not. I'll have to look that up. Essentially, they can move or attack in a single round, but not both unless they use a charge attack and take the penalties for doing so. In 3.0 they could only take partial actions. This caused a lot of problems with using them, and is one reason why partial actions were eliminated from 3.5. They aren't immune to flanking, but they are immune to a Rogue or other character's Sneak Attack due to not having functioning vital organs and take reduced damage from anything other than slashing weapons. Maybe that is what you are thinking of. |
