A player wants to play in a one-shot session as a Corpsecrafted undead, and I need to assign a fair cash value or Level Adjustment on getting crafted in this way. Any suggestions?

Has no one else ever had to deal with this? Weird...

Maybe in the feats section I'll get more response?

I treat it as +1 LA, and having benefits from other feats in the chain costs XP.

The lack of official guidelines for the LA and CR effects of the feats was one of the major flaws of Libris Mortis.

I think it'd only work if he were animated by someone with the corpsecrafter feat. And as far as I know that's only mindless zombies and skeletons... Then again, there is the awaken undead spell...

I once did something vaguely similar to this, but there isn't anything in the rules to support it. The 'cost' is the necromancer taking the feat.

A gp cost would be too expensive, and +4 str/ +2 hp/hd is not worth +1 la. Just think up a reason he's corpsecrafted and call it done.
