Okay, I cheated. This is basically a Half-Dragon (Black) Large Viper with one extra HD, improved Str and Con, and regeneration. I want to throw this as a "mini-boss" encounter for a group of five 4th-level PCs. Comments? Feedback?

Breath Weapon (Su): Line of acid, 5 feet high and wide, 60 feet long, 6d8 damage, Reflex save half (DC 13). Usable once per day.

Regeneration (Ex): Correi-serpents take normal damage from fire and bludgeoning weapons. A correi-serpentthat loses a limb or body part can reattach it by holding the severed member to the stump. Reattachment takes 1 minute. If the head or other vital organ is severed, it must be reattached within 10 minutes or the creature dies. They cannot regrow lost body parts.

(I also know that Correi-serpent is a pretty bad name. But I can't think of a decent one as of now.)

OK nice idea !

I would probably make it a winged armless snake, but that's a different matter, with two Bite attacks maybe ?

It looks quite fine, but why a Breath Weapon (Acid) ? I would dump it in favour of a BW (Poison), handled like a cone of gaz.
It would feel more snake-like, not like a 'small' Black Dragon.

Also even with Regeneration it seems weak with so few HP compared to 4th level PCs : it wouldn't last very long in my opinion.

Anyway just my $2...
