| Onyx_Alpha01-04-06, 04:29 PM | Could anyone make me a half-fiend dragon(Silver)? I don't have MMI so I can't. I need it as a boss-monster for a dragon disciple campaign. |
| ubernex01-04-06, 04:38 PM | Silver dragons and the Half-Fiend template are both in the SRD - I like this hypertext one: Hypertext SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/index.htm) Never be without the monster manual again! (well, your out of luck on Beholders and Mindflayers, but that's a different matter.) |
| dok01-04-06, 05:04 PM | There is actually a specific thread just for requesting advanced/templated creatures (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=494632). If you post your request there, some one will get right on it. However, you do need to specify what age category of silver dragon you're applying this template to, since that makes a big difference. Or at least say what you want the final CR to be If you want to do it yourself, you can find Silver dragons here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/dragonTrue.htm#silverDragon), and the half-fiend template here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/halfFiend.htm). |

| Athanatos01-07-06, 11:27 AM | how can you DM without the MM? I do it all the time. Part of it comes from the RP-oriented games I run, and part of it comes from the fact that the stats for a good deal of the monsters in the MM are in my head anyway. The MM to me is more of a guideline than a set "THIS MONSTER HAS THESE STATS AND YOU WILL ENCOUNTER THIS MANY OF THEM AND GAIN THIS MANY XP." Then again, Rule 0 Advocates can run some rather shoddy campaigns unless they actually know how to keep everything balanced. |
