| Loren Pechtel04-19-05, 11:49 PM | It's still got the same problem of the stock version--no ability to affect those in the sky. Fly above it and rain acid flasks down on it. |
| warok04-20-05, 12:10 AM | its regen entry needs updated should be 1745 to take it out, not 868 like a normal tarrasque |
| Hochi-min trail04-20-05, 05:26 AM | If you want to keep it similar to the old tarrasque but with a little more power, you've succeeded, but i think there are two little problems (i say little because they really aren't that significant, only for flavor). 1. Although he can send back at the user every spell cast upon him, he could still use Spell resistance a little higher than he has. Although you said he was good for 4 28th level PC's, he is a CR 32, which means he should be a good fight for four 32 level PC's. For this, his spell resistance should be 42 (CR+10), at least, since that's the average SR for a monster. 2. With that attack bonus, he will hit everything in sight (on the ground), but with that AC, he will be hit all the time. This doesn't matter a whole lot because of his monsterous HP, but still, if you play a hurking hurler, a better AC would help his survivle. Hope i could help, Hochi. |

| Nuntius12804-20-05, 08:58 PM | Half-Iron Golem Paragon Tarrasque of Legend is bettah! That's right. Monster of Legend works on the Tarrasque. Just realised that. |
| obrysii04-20-05, 09:18 PM | If you need something nigh unkillable like the Tarrasque, I suggest something like my BBEG, Tadasi (http://boards.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=396861) |

| Starmage2104-22-05, 07:30 AM | did you just advance it? |
| P33KAJ3W04-22-05, 12:32 PM | did you just advance it? Ya I looked at the last line of advancing monsters and it said to scale natural abilitys and shtuff with the CR - so I did |
| P33KAJ3W04-22-05, 12:36 PM | Half-Iron Golem Paragon Tarrasque of Legend can beat it. :D Ant the CR would be.. WAY TO BIG - I mean hell a Tarasque advanced thru HD to CR 68902345608976 would beat THAT but does it reallly need to be stated. |

| obrysii04-23-05, 10:13 AM | Half-Iron Golem Paragon Tarrasque of Legend can beat it. :D If you mean it can beat Tadasi...nope. It has more than one racial HD, and thus considered "immortal"...making Tadasi immune to it's attacks. ;) |
| Hochi-min trail04-23-05, 11:46 AM | Which is still confusing since by that ou say that a troll is immortal (correct me if i'm wrong, but no where does it even hint that trolls are immortals). Actually, the only place where it says that a creature is immortal except for outsiders is with Leshay. But beside that anicdote, a half-iron golem doesn't sound right for a tarrasque, since it means someone cought it and gave it a metal arm. In addition, since there is only one Tarrasque, you could say he is already a paragon of his kind, and therefore ther is no reason (except for a power surge), to add to it the Paragon Tamplate. In the end, the best way to make a Tarrasque better, is to advance it and give it defense and offensive capabilites against flying beings. Anything else is almost like creating a brand new creature that is based on the current Tarrasque. |

So the epic monk isn't, but the troll is? ...and, is a ghost considered mortal? It is dead, but isn't entirely dead... |

| Nuntius12804-23-05, 03:58 PM | That's where the note saying the DM is free to decide what is and is not considered "mortal" Immortal in D&D means the same thing no matter who the DM is. Its not a questio of house rules. If it is, then you're free to twist the entire English language as you see fit. It means that they can't die of old age. Where'd you pull that "racial HD" thing from anyway? Where did you get the idea that racial HD=immortality? Also, with all of those abilities, I should think a Draconic Undead would look different than Cthulu with wings. |

If it is, then you're free to twist the entire English language as you see fit. It means that they can't die of old age. In my opinion, in our eyes we would view dragons as immortal beings. They live at least 2,000 years...far longer than us. They are in the eyes of a normal human, immortal. Immortality to me implies either extreme fame (such that will not be forgotten) or extreme life span. Not necassarily infinite life span. Note that one definition, as per the "Define: immortal" search on google reveals this: "any supernatural being worshipped as controlling some part of the world or some aspect of life or who is the personification of a force" Dragons and the Tarrasque could very much likely, for example, fall under this catagory. Undead would look different than Cthulu with wings. Note that Cthulhu actually has wings. |
