Yesterday, in a game, I quickly generated skeletons, and then I assigned them levels in sorceror (3 levels more exactly). Now, my question is... a skeleton doesn't retain any special abilities they had when they were alive, and thus their CR changes. A skeleton (with all the skeleton qualities, except they retain any spellcasting abilities) with levels in sorceror would probably have an increase in CR, but my questions is: How much?

I was guessing +1 CR for the undead qualities and probably a +1 LA (feats and skill bonuses, but no CON)... But Im interested in your input :)

There is a template called Bone Creature in the Book of Vile Darkness that basically creates an intelligent skeleton that retains all the abilities it had in life. It didn't increase the CR much, but I can't remember the exact amount and I don't have my book on me.
