If your player characters are created by less than 30 buy points, +1.

07-23-06, 12:44 PM NPCs are assumed to be built using the elite npc stat array of 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8, for a 24 point buy. Using 40-point buy would improve their stats quite significantly, so an ad-hoc improvement of cr+1 should be appropriate, but I agree with the previous poster that it will ultimately depend on how much impact the stat increases actually has.

For example, if the fighter chooses to pump his mental scores to simulate a diplomacy build, no adjustment would be necessary.
