My DM, despite having played and dmed the game for several decades (Or mabey as a result of the same) often makes bizzaro mistakes when arbitrating the rules. And usually, they arnt in his players favor. Last sunday, he pitted my level 9 character in a 1 on 1 duel vs a CR 6 Gauth(sp?) some kind of medium beholder. However he seems to have neglected the rule that all behloders may only fire 2 eye stalks in any 90 degree arc in any given round. What do you think the CR of a Gauth would be if they where able to fire all of their eye stalks every round without any targeting restrictions?
