| TaisharMalkier03-16-04, 12:22 AM | Zug Zug. We all know how class levels work with respects to CR. Each additional class level adds +1 to the creature's CR. However, as can be seen in many examples, this factors in additional equipment (such as the Mind Flayer Sorcerer). How do people estimate/equivalate "naked" class levels (as in class levels with no equipment attached)? Cheers |
| Palin the Wizard03-16-04, 01:25 AM | No equipment what-so-ever? Hmmmm. That's tough. Sorcerer: The same, +1 CR. Monk: Likewise. Bard: Again, +1. Druid: Not as powerful... maybe 3/4ths a CR. Cleric: Same. Barbarian: Same again... around 3/4ths. Ranger: ½ Paladin: ½ Fighter: ½ Rogue: 1/4th Wizard: 1/4th (or less) (doesn't have spellbook, so can't memorize spells) If the Wizard gets his spellbook, make him +3/4ths as well. That's my take on it, in any case. |
