I suggest a hearty dose of spellcheck. Also, somebody should teach your players to read, as it makes it much easier to learn the rules.

The bastard sword should be +8 melee. The eye ray should be +7 ranged. The Listen and Spot modifiers should be +7. There should be another skill with seven ranks. If a creature has equipment in their stat block then it should have a treasure entry. Organization should say "Any" or list a variety of choices or anything else that doesn't say "meh, I'll decide when I feel like it".

I say CR 4. It can make a 2d6/x3 touch attack from 120 feet away with no penalties and can do it twice with two levels of a martial class. Add that to a good AC and permanent entropic shield for a very effective sniper, and this creature is smart enough to know how effective this strategy is and pick its fights accordingly. Also note that the creature has unbeatable regeneration. Ding ding.

Thanks SD, I didnt catch the mistakes you pointed out. This is the final version. I want wonder what the LA should be but since my PC will never be able to play one I guess it doesnt matter, when it comes to Class levels for them I can just judge what my PCs are able to defeat.

Soldier of Zanhai
Monstrous Humanoid
Hit Dice: 4d8+8 (26 hp)
Initiative: +2
Speed: 30ft (40ft without armor) (6 sq/8sq)
Armor Class: 20 (+3 Natural, +5 Breast Plate, +2 Shield)
BAB/G: +4/+7
Attack: Bustard Sword +8 melee 1d10+3 (19-20/x2) or Eye Ray +7 ranged 2d6 (20/x3)
Full Attack: Bustard Sword +8 melee 1d10+3 (19-20/x2) or Eye Ray +7 ranged 2d6 (20/x3)
Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft
Special Qualities: Darkvision 60ft, Regeneration 3, Entropic Shield
Saves: Fort +3 Ref +6 Will +4
Abilities: Str 16 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 12 Wis 10 Cha 12
Skills: +7 Listen, +7 Spot, +6 Jump
Feats: Weapon Focus (Bustard Sword), Weapon Focus (Eye Ray)
Environment: The Dark Realm (Sealed off Part of the Material Plane)
Treasure: (Only carry their listed weapons, armor and they eat what they kill)
Organization: Scout (1), Squad (4-6), Unit (10-20 plus 1 3rd-Level leader)
Challenge Rating: 4

Eye Ray(Ex): The Eye ray can be used as a normal weapon so it can attack a number of times per round as the Soldier of Zanhai has attacks. It has a range of 120ft and is a ranged touch attack.

Entropic Shield(Ex): The Soldier of Zanhai is constantly under the effects of the Entropic Shield Spell.

Regeneration(Ex): The Soldier of Zanhai converts all lethal damage into non-lethal damage. It heals 3 points of non-lethal damage per round. It can regrow lost limbs in 3d4 minutes and instantly reattach them by holding the severed limb to the stump. Good aligned weapons bypass this regeneration (I play with weapons can be aligned without being holy/unholy extra damage)

Before you stands a 7 foot tall humanoid. It is covered head to toe in cubic shaped breast plate (segmented squares make up the different parts of it) of a colour somewhere between purple and brown with yellow line patterns running the outside parameter of the side of each plate. Its head is practically rectangular running front to back and is narrow. The only feature not covered by it helmet is a large perfectly circular glowing red, geen or blue eye.

Soldiers of Zanhai were designed to be the Ultimate battlefield control soldier. Capable of whipping out large numbers of troop of lesser races single handedly Soldiers of Zanhai make up for their lack of number, for now, with the ability to self heal, defense vs. ranged attacks and devastating eye beam.

Armor check penalty applies to Jump checks.

Class levels are added to CR, but just for kicks, I'm going to guess LA +3 or +4. With an LA much higher than that the racial abilities really start to not matter, especially since they don't scale. The only thing that consistently increases is the eye ray, which increases only in likelihood of hitting and never damage or range. Again, a dedicated SoZ sniper is a creepy thought, but I imagine that most high-level SoZs will put their money on melee capabilities and tearing through the battlefield rather than sitting back and blasting.

Is there any significance to the different colors of eyes (like age or status among the SoZs) or is it just a flavor thing?

Some suggestions:

Speed: Don't forget your squares at the end.
Armor Class: Don't forget Touch and Flat-Footed
Full Attack: Repeat the attack line, don't just say as above.
Environment: If it's native to the Dark Realm you need (extraplanar) subtype unless the creature is (native) to the plane he's on. If the Dark Realm is a particular place on the Material plane you should stick to regular enivronments like marsh, hill, mountain etc..
Organization: Scout (1), Squad (4-6), Unit (10-20 plus 1 3rd-Level leader)

Pretty cool concept. :)

The colour of the eye indicates if the SoZ is a member of the First, Second or Third army.

Those feats by the way are just for the SoZ that my PCs just fought, if I were going to be a sniper it would have Point Black Shot and Rapid Shot, this one here is just the general version.
