| Thelon Fairblade04-19-05, 08:38 AM | I just tossed two of these "guys" at the party last night, and I realized I don't know their CR, for XP purposes: 3 HD Medium constructs 30 hp (3d10 + 10 for Medium construct) construct traits STR 16, DEX 8, CON -, INT -, WIS 10, CHA 10 Attack: longsword (or warhammer) +5 (1d8+3) DR 2/piercing AC 17 (+5 armor, +3 natural armor, -1 dex) Init -1 Speed 30' Feats: none Skills: none I rough-guessed CR 3. The particular clockwork soldiers I used last night had bronze weapons, which had normal chances to hit but inflicted -1 damage. I also made them vulnerable to fire. |

It has better hp, a better BAB, and better saves than your monster. Make your clockwork soldier small, and they'll make fine CR 2 monsters. |
