07-28-04, 08:23 PM I think they do it the way they priced magic items in 2nd Ed: they pick a number that seems about right. That's how I price my constructs, anyway.

It's worth pointing out that that's pretty much how they priced the magic items in the 3.0 DMG, since they were written up before the magic item pricing guidelines.
