I am running an epic level (21st level) game in a few days and one of the NPC’s is basically an outsider that was created out of the souls of nine hundred and ninety nine barbarian martyrs. The quick explanation is over a millennium ago there was a powerful force that threatened the wilderness of the material planes. Many exalted barbarians and druids rose up to the challenge of defeating this entity but after many battles they all failed in vain. Finally a druid grove, with the help of Gwynharwy and Elonna, was able to use the power of nature to bind 999 willing exalted barbarians together to create this being. I am trying to figure out what in the infinite levels of the abyss would this entity have as abilities. Would it be an outsider, an abomination, an elemental or what? What kind of special abilities would it have? Any kind of ideas would be extremely helpful. I was thinking it would be an avatar of righteous rage or something along those lines. Thanks for any ideas in advance. The only thing I truly need is for this thing to be immortal, which I could easily chalk up as dm magic.
